EINMAL WISCH UND WEG
Only One Wipe - Age & Care
Disposable gloves are almost always worn when caring for the elderly.

There are good reasons for this from a hygienic point of view. Nevertheless, from a human point of view it seems extremely sad since the touch becomes 'dehumanized'. Where remains the human touch when the loved ones live far away?

Due to the increasing shortage of staff, the motto 'fed - clean - medicated' is more and more often the one that counts.

'EINMAL WISCH UND WEG' -(ONLY ONE WIPE) does, unfortunately, not only refer to the disposable glove.
THE FORGOTTEN BIOGRAPHY
In the rush of everyday life, it is easy to forget that old age not only means decay, but also harbors a whole life. To draw attention to this, I wrote my mother's own biography on a dress made of disposable gloves.
DAS LETZTE HEMD (THE LAST SHIRT) . A triology of dresses made of disposable gloves printed with family photos. The photos incorporated into the dresses become less organized and more blurred from dress to dress. The dresses get shorter and more torn. This work is about old age and decay and the fact that despite everything, there is dignity and beauty.
