„A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single person contemplates it, bearing the image of a cathedral deep within.“
Antoine de Saint Exupéry (1942)
My work begins with curiosity – the spark that drives me to explore, experiment and leave my comfort zone behind.
My practice emerges from the interplay between idea, material and process.
Sometimes, an idea informs a search for the right medium; other times a material or object inspires a concept.
I believe in looking beyond the obvious. The result is a varied body of work, reflecting on human emotions and social dynamics. It is typically three-dimensional, often body related, but can also take on the form of an installation, drawing, handprint, or book.
