HOLOGRAPHIC PROJECTS
Anja Eichler & Jürgen Eichler
Anja Eichler and Jürgen Eichler are not related to each other.
Anja Eichler is responsible for the artistic concept and the making of the jewelry pieces, Jürgen Eichler masters the technological aspects of producing the holograms.
Through computers, the internet, and emerging technologies like AR and VR, the analogue world is shifting onto screens and into virtual space.

A hologram functions similarly — it represents a three-dimensional object within a two-dimensional layer.

These technologies raise a central question: what is the relationship between representation and reality?

Using holograms in jewelry highlights this tension, as the image they depict changes — or even disappears — depending on how light reflects upon it when it is worn.
DIE GABE - THE OFFER
“For it is more blessed to give than to receive”, as the Bible says.
When we give - a gift like an object, but also in a figurative sense in the form of love, a promise or a good deed, the world can change.

HOLOFLORIDA
Artist Excellence Award, Society of Arts & Crafts, Boston, 2025
HoloFlorida shows flower-like holograms holograms that correspond with underlying motifs of flowers. The objects used to create the hologram are bent metal plates feigning to be flowers. The hologram might, in one moment, shine in its brightest colors, whereas in the next, it might be hidden by the background motive. What one perceives is quite literally in the eye of the beholder—inviting reflection on the boundaries between reality and illusion.
