/eight States of a Heart

Eight situations in life and their emotional status.

The pieces started out with a drawing, made during or after telephone conversations. While later on working with the eggs, my head and my heart were still busy with these emotions and they started to infiltrate into the sculptural work.

The result is on one hand very personal since it was inspired by personal conversations, emotions and thoughts. On the other hand I think that it is also possible for other people to project and fill in details from their own experience since I believe that our emotions focus to a great deal on the same issues of life like love, hopes, fears and the like.

By placing the brooch and the drawing into a box, the intimacy of the pieces is protected. The box could  be opened, Its contents shown to the world , the brooch be worn or it could stay an intimate treasure.
